WEBNov 2, 2020 · My question is regarding the serving size. He is just under 60 lbs. so if I feed him the recommended amount of 1.5 lbs a day it would be 765 kcals a day (256 kcal per 1/2 lb). This seems low to me, based off of my research when I was making his food, saying he needed around 1,200 kcal a day to maintain his weight.
