LONDON (AP) — European Union regulators accused TikTok on Thursday of breaching digital content rules because it’s not being transparent enough about ads shown to users of the video sharing app.

Regulators are taking issue with the data, or lack thereof, being provided in the repository that TikTok has curated. They claim that TikTok has failed to provide information on who paid for ads, what audiences they are targeting and the precise product or service those ads are promoting.

The European Commission said TikTok might be breaking EU rules on advertisement information provided to users.
