Ruling in favor of the Blue Springs School District, Missouri's highest court said the former student failed to prove the district discriminated against him for denying him access to male locker rooms and bathrooms.

The ruling, which upheld an earlier decision to overrule a jury, was based on a lack of evidence, not the constitutionality of bathroom bans.

The Missouri Supreme Court judges based their decision largely on discussion of the student’s genitalia, despite what’s on his birth certificate.
