The Oscar-winning actor retreated from the spotlight after 2017's "Phantom Thread," but is making an exception for son Ronan's new drama.

The project from Focus Features is set to have its world premiere at the The New York Film Festival —which kicks off Sept. 26th and runs through Oct. 13 — and marks the return of the three-time Oscar winner after an eight-year “retirement.”
