Minnesota governor and former vice presidential candidate Tim Walz took the stage in Des Moines Friday for his first town hall since he and Kamala Harris lost the presidential election last year.

If Republicans won’t hold town halls? Well, Minnesota’s Democratic Governor Tim Walz says he will. He’s off to a number of Midwest U.S. House Districts that are GOP-leaning to spread the message Democrats are there to support their families.

Tim Walz is headed back out on the road – this time, for a tour of House districts represented by Republicans, some of whom have stopped holding town halls amid the raucous receptions their colleagues have gotten across the country.
