Clark returned to practice this week, and her comeback game just happens to be a nationally televised one against the Liberty — the defending champs and, at 9-0, the last unbeaten team left in the league this season.

The 4-5 Fever are 2-3 without Clark, and things clearly deteriorated without her in the lineup. Sydney Colson and Sophie Cunningham suffered injuries in the second game without Clark, causing the Fever to drop below 10 healthy players. Indiana used an emergency hardship exception on Aari McDonald.

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is "ready to roll" ahead of Saturday's game against the New York Liberty. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year has missed her team's last five games with a quad injury. Her return couldn't be better timed as the Liberty are off to a 9-0 start in pursuit of a second straight championship.
