The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) released its latest annual report, which says that Texas ranked in second out of all states in the number of complaints received, according to the agency.

The new report also noted that ransomware remained the largest threat to U.S. critical infrastructure in 2024, with complaints rising 9% from 2023.
