Ducati's red-hot Marc Marquez won the Argentina Grand Prix on Sunday after trailing his brother Alex of Gresini Racing for much of the race as the pair finished in the top two yet again, while VR46 Racing's Franco Morbidelli was third.

Alex Marquez said that when his brother started to push harder, the Gresini rider was “nearly crashing all the corners”. For him, it’s clear “he’s able to be more on the limit in the last part of the race”, and the 0.299s pace difference average in the final five laps backs this up.

MotoGP did not have two brothers finishing first and second for 76 years, but the Marquez brothers have achieved the feat twice within two weeks. Sunday’s victory also saw the 3
