ESPN announced Wednesday that it had reached an agreement to acquire the NFL Network, RedZone and Fantasy Football outlets from the NFL in exchange for 10% equity in ESPN and its subsidiaries. ESPN will also continue to air the NFL draft and will become the new domestic home of all WWE Premium Live Events, including WrestleMania.

ESPN and the NFL have reached a deal that will see the Disney-owned sports media company acquire NFL Network and certain other media assets owned and controlled by the NFL in exchange for a 10 percent equity stake in ESPN.

The NFL announced Tuesday night that it has entered into a nonbinding agreement with ESPN. Under the terms, ESPN will acquire NFL Network, NFL Fantasy and the rights to distribute the RedZone channel to cable and satellite operators and the league will get a 10% equity stake in ESPN.
