Over 30 demonstrations, coined “No Kings” protests, will take place across Connecticut this Saturday. Opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration are set to rally in hundreds of cities during the military parade in Washington for the Army’s 250th anniversary — which coincides with Trump’s birthday.
Thousands of protesters gathered at the Capitol in Hartford, and in communities across the state, to speak out against the Trump administration and acts of political violence.
The "No Kings National Day of Mobilizations" is scheduled to take place nationwide Saturday, June 14, with about 30 taking place across Connecticut.
