Light rain arrives in Southern California ahead of main storm, flash flood watch
The first storm in a two-part series has made its way to Southern California before the main storm begins Thursday, increasing the danger of flash flooding.

Monahan says there will be periods of heavy rain throughout Wednesday and a flood watch remains in effect until Thursday morning. There is some risk for a strong storms or even some severe storms to develop over west Georgia late Wednesday night into early Thursday.
First Alert Weather in place until Thursday for heavy rain, flooding potential
Because of the widespread nature of the heavy rain, we’ve issued First Alert Weather Days through Thursday. Another 1-3″ of rain is expected for most across the area, a bit higher in western portions of the map with some potentially adding on 2-3″ on top of what fell Tuesday.

WEEKEND: Another big round of rain and maybe some storms will arrive Saturday and linger into Saturday night. Another 1-3″ of rain is possible. Highs will be in the low 60s Saturday. It may end as a few snow showers, especially in the mountains with temperatures falling into the 30s Sunday. Accumulation is possible in the higher elevations.
Wednesday weather: Flood Watch continues with rain ending
A Flood Watch continues in the ArkLaTex through Wednesday. We will continue to see periods of heavy rain through Wednesday morning. Once the rain ends, we will close Wednesday with warmer temperatures.
Weather worries: Heavy rain then STORMS this weekend
We could have a few worries this week with our weather in the ArkLaTex. Heavy rain is likely on Tuesday and possibly Wednesday with isolated areas of flooding possible. Strong to severe storms will be possible for part of the area on Saturday.
