Community raises 40K for Sade Robinson memorial and foundation
Loved ones, friends, strangers and community leaders came together Sunday to raise money for a memorial honoring Sade Robinson. The fundraiser, inside 3rd Street Market Hall, raised $40,000 according to organizer and 3rd Street Market Hall co-owner Omar Shaikh.

Sade Robinson memorial gets 2nd chance with fundraiser
Scarbrough has founded a nonprofit called Sade's Voice Foundation. She said once they have the donations, they will seek approval from the county to move forward with the memorial. A GoFundMe has been set up to help. Shaikh said he is still working on the details of the fundraiser, but plans to have those within the next two weeks.
