The death toll from heavy rains that inundated parts of San Antonio has risen to 13, and all those missing have been found, authorities said Saturday. More than 7 inches (18 centimeters) of rain fell over a span of hours on Thursday,

The search for missing people concluded on Saturday morning, two days after flash flooding overwhelmed the area.

As San Antonio mourns the loss of at least twelve residents swept from roads during the record flood event Thursday, prayers can be assigned to names, or at least seven of them so far. The death toll from the floods continues to rise, nearly by the hour, and Bexar County officials are beginning to tell us who they are.
