A low-pressure system just off the Florida coast is forecast to bring heavy rains, thunderstorms and possible flooding the next few days, the NWS said.

The disturbance is forecast to move into the north-central Gulf, where environmental conditions could allow for slow development. The NHC expects the system to move inland by the weekend, ending any chances of development.
