Al-Ittihad failed with an ambitious £29.4million bid to sign Trossard last summer and the Saudi Pro League remains a viable option for the attacker, who is out of contract at the Emirates in 2026, as well as Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.

At 30-years-old, Trossard is a little older than many (if not all) of Bayern Munich’s other transfer targets, but he could also be less expensive.
