New York Jets veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor is no stranger to taking a back seat in his NFL career, and having been behind Aaron Rodgers last year, he will again be behind another quarterback in Justin Fields in 2025.

Taylor's main goal is to help the Jets win, in whatever capacity that is as a veteran presence. He wants to help the younger members of the team, including Fields, who he knows "very well," noting they trained together this offseason.

The Jets declared Justin Fields their starter shortly after signing him, and backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor says he can live with that.
