FBI Director Kash Patel said the bureau has used artificial intelligence to help stop multiple attacks, including school shootings, as part of a broader push to modernize federal law enforcement under the Trump administration.

Newsom’s post came as Patel vowed to sue over a Friday report in The Atlantic alleging that more than two dozen people familiar with the FBI director’s conduct have described his tenure as marked by excessive drinking, erratic behavior, and unexplained absences.

At a congressional hearing today, the FBI director seemed unafraid of any repercussions and more interested in scoring partisan points that go viral.
