A dance teacher in Uttar Pradesh's Basti district has lodged a police complaint alleging that she had been getting rape and death threats from man who claims to be the member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Mumbai: Shiv Kumar Gautam, a key shooter arrested in connection with the murder of veteran Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique, has disclosed that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had ordered the assassination of either Baba Siddique or his son, Zeeshan Siddique.

Shivkumar Gautham, the main shooter involved in the murder of veteran Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique told police that Lawrence Bishnoi gang wanted either the leader or his son Zeeshan killed. Police arrested Gautam and four others on Sunday and they have been remanded to police custody for a week.

Investigations reveal both Baba Siddique and his son Zeeshan were potential targets for the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. A total of 23 arrests have been made in the case.
