Today’s announcement doesn’t come as a surprise. Back in July, Meta announced that Roblox was coming to Meta Quest VR headsets, starting with an open beta that will be available on App Lab.

It was also noted that since the app remains in beta mode, both Roblox and Meta are still giving developers a chance to test out the game and find ways to make the experience more optimized for VR.

Meta recently lowered the minimum age to operate a Quest headset from 13 to ten, but this change will not impact Roblox. You have to be at least 13 to use the app in VR.

Roblox is coming to Meta Quest with an open beta on App Lab in the coming weeks.
