Officers said Roberto Coton Jr. turned left onto Fernwood Drive into the path of a motorcyclist. Coton fled the scene and reportedly abandoned his car.

The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. on Thursday along School Street. Officers said the man who was shot was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

On Tuesday, Feb. 10, 17-year-old Isaac Tracy was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after authorities found his mother, 49-year-old Katharine Svaldi, dead from several stab wounds.
