A winter weather advisory has been issued for Dodge, Washington, Ozaukee, Fond du Lac, and Sheboygan Counties from 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28 to 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29.

Another round of light snow showers moves across southern Wisconsin late this morning & into the afternoon. Accumulations will remain under 1".

While areas of northern Wisconsin received over a foot of snowfall overnight Dec. 28-29, southern Wisconsin received around 1 inch. Still, high winds causing blowing and drifting snow caused the National Weather Service to issue a winter weather advisory even for areas with low accumulation, like Milwaukee.
