A second suspect has been charged in a New Year’s Day shooting in Birmingham that left a 23-year-old man dead. Armarious Anderson, 22, is charged with capital murder in the slaying of Nathaniel Ladell Young.

Cornelius Dontae Houston, 30, was the first person arrested in connection the shooting. Birmingham Police say they, along with the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, arrested Houston Thursday, Feb. 13. Detectives also obtained warrants for capital murder and three counts of attempted murder for Houston.

The Dothan Police Department is searching for a suspect in connection to a shooting that occured on February 18.
