Detroit thunder rolled across the Circuit de la Sarthe as Cadillac won its first Le Mans pole, a feat last accomplished by a Detroit carmaker in 1967.

It will be an all-Cadillac front row for the 93rd 24 Hours of Le Mans following a dominate performance in final qualifying at Circuit de la Sarthe at Le Mans, France on Thursday. The front row lockout is the first for an American manufacturer for the Le Mans race since Ford pulled off that accomplishment with Dan Gurney and A.
