Montreal is one of five stops on the Formula 1 calendar in North America, alongside Miami, Austin and Las Vegas, and Mexico City’s Grand Prix.

A new race has been added to the Canadian Grand Prix schedule after extreme weather in Miami prompted a late cancellation. The 2025 Miami GP was hit by severe rain showers, which played havoc with Sunday’s race schedule and the second F1 Academy race of the weekend cancelled to prevent further delays.

The deal to keep Montreal follows long-term extensions for Melbourne (2037), Bahrain (2036) and Silverstone (2034).
