Thursday marked five years since the death of civil rights leader and Congressman John Lewis, which is why the movement was held that day. The Good Trouble Lives On organization said Lewis coined the phrase "Good Trouble" to describe coming together for peaceful action against injustice.
Organizers will call for passage of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and other voting rights legislation.
