The San Jose Sharks acquired Ryan Reaves from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Henry Thrun. While the move was a bit perplexing to both fan bases at first, especially for Sharks fans, it helped clear an obvious logjam and added some needed toughness to the forward group.
NHL enforcer Ryan Reaves, now traded from Toronto to San Jose, blasted Craig Berube for not trusting him and taking him out of games most of the time.
It’s no secret. Ryan Reaves isn’t the player he once was… and he’s not contributing much on the ice. He hasn’t scored in 35 games this season in Toronto (two assists), and at one point, the Leafs even decided to send him to the minors.
