The Environmental Protection Agency is rolling back rules limiting forever chemicals in drinking water. The Trump administration plans to weaken drinking water rules meant to protect Americans from “forever chemicals” that have been linked to cancer, reproductive risks, liver damage, and other health issues.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin will announce Wednesday that the agency is keeping the current nationwide limits for “forever chemicals” in drinking water while committing to extend compliance deadlines for drinking water systems, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.
