The University of California, Los Angeles, has reached a $6 million settlement with three Jewish students and a Jewish professor who filed a lawsuit alleging UCLA violated their civil rights.

The University of California, Los Angeles announced Tuesday that it has reached a settlement in a discrimination lawsuit brought by Jewish students and a faculty member, agreeing to pay more than $6 million.

UCLA agreed to settle a lawsuit by Jewish students who alleged the university aided a 2024 pro-Palestinian encampment, which the lawsuit alleged illegally discriminated against Jewish people.
