An update to the Google Wallet app appears to have added support for .pkpass files. Having .pkpass support would allow Google Wallet users to import passes from Apple Wallet.

Android writer Mishaal Rahman posted on X that files in the .pkpass format used by Apple can now be imported into Google Wallet.
