The administration may have helped two alleged criminals escape legal trouble, and even some allies are not happy.

An attorney for the brothers said they are citizens of the United States and part of an ongoing defamation case in a Florida court.

On Thursday, an attorney for the brothers implied that Trump helped lift the travel restrictions on them. "I don't know how it came to this," DeSantis told the press. "We were not notified."
