"In the middle of the night, Phill began to crash and his doctors called to tell us there was nothing they could do," owners of Phill the water buffalo said.
The original design of the facility included a tropical forest habitat and a 195,000 gallon aquarium. The design consultant, Clark Patterson Lee, was paid $6.7 million for the original design.
