A tornado swept through western Seminole County late Monday morning as a storm swept through that caused significant damage to homes in Longwood.

I’VE LIVED IN FLORIDA, BORN AND RAISED ORLANDO AREA MY ENTIRE LIFE, AND I’VE LIVED THROUGH MANY A HURRICANES. AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, I’VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT. THAT WIND WAS INCREDIBLE. IT WAS TERRIFYING.

The cold front that pushed over parts of Central Florida early Monday spun some thunderstorms, some of which turned severe. One of the many tornado warnings that were issued in the morning came shortly after 9:30 in Seminole County, just north of Orange County, where Orlando is located.
