First-Edition “Superman” Comic Originally Bought for 10 Cents Fetches a Record $9M at Auction
A first edition of a Superman comic from 1939, which originally cost 10 cents, was sold on Nov. 20 for $9.12 million at auction, according to a news release from Heritage Auctions.
