On Wednesday at 6:07 p.m. a severe thunderstorm warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until 6:45 p.m. for Allegheny, Beaver and Butler counties.
The highest rain chances will be from the evening drive time to just after sunset. There is a moderate chance for flash flooding across the Susquehanna Valley. Excessive runoff may result in flooding creeks, streams and low-lying areas, as well as flood-prone locations.
