The Jets are done with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. That was the big non-game news on Super Bowl Sunday, from Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, who reported Rodgers flew back to New Jersey in recent days to meet with the team, only to be told they would no longer be needing his services.

The team met with Aaron Rodgers last week and informed him they’d be going in another direction. And so the Jets’ Rodgers era ends with a whimper, two years of disappointment and a whole lot of “what if’s.

The Jets and Aaron Rodgers will reportedly part ways, setting the stage for a new starting quarterback to run the offense in 2025.
