Ukrainian and Belarusian hackers who claimed responsibility for a major cyberattack on Aeroflot said Friday that they published the flight history of the Russian airline’s CEO despite official denials that any data had been leaked.

The hack may have been part of a campaign to disrupt the sense of normalcy Russians have mostly enjoyed since the start of the war.

Russia's national airline, Aeroflot, said it had cancelled dozens of flights after pro-Ukrainian hackers claimed an attack on the carrier's IT systems. A statement from hacking group Silent Crow said it carried out the attack with the help of a Belarusian group Cyberpartisans.
