An actor has lied to us again, if you can believe it! Ben Mendelsohn swore that his Star Wars villain charater Director Orson Krennic would NOT be making a return in Star Wars: Andor Season 2 – so imagine the surprise of now seeing the character on Empire Magazine’s cover,

Andor season 2 is bringing back a ship that was first introduced in a video game released all the way back in 1994.

Andor Season 2 leads directly into the final chapter in Cassian Andor's storyline, told in true Star Wars fashion through an interquel in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Season 2 introduces characters from that feature film such as K-S20 and Krennic, and star Diego Luna has said it turns Rogue One into a completely different film.

Another new showreel of Disney Plus’s upcoming shows has appeared, and alongside new glimpses of Daredevil, Ironheart and Alien: Earth, the first ever footage of Andor season 2 can be seen.

This morning Disney teased its slate of streaming shows coming to Disney+ and Hulu next year, which means, at long last–after closed-door teases and behind-the-scenes snippets –we finally have our first proper look at the return of Andor in the seminal Star Wars show’s second season.

The upcoming second season of Andor is bringing a classic spaceship from a fan-favorite series of Star Wars video games into Disney's official canon.
