Day 2 of the Draft looked a little different in 2025. This time around, we finished the whole thing. The first 105 picks came off the board on Day 1 on Sunday, but there was still a ton of talent available for Day 2,
The Orioles’ first three picks were Auburn catcher/corner outfielder Ike Irish (No. 19), Coastal Carolina catcher Caden Bodine (No. 30) and Wehiwa Aloy (No. 31). The No. 19 pick was the Orioles’ original first-round selection, while Nos. 30 and 31 were compensation for losing Corbin Burnes and Anthony Santander in free agency.
The 2025 MLB Draft gets started with the first three rounds — totaling 105 picks — on Sunday with Rounds 4-20 taking place on Monday. The Washington Nationals will get the top overall pick as the draft takes place at the Coca-Cola Roxy, adjacent to Atlanta’s Truist Park, the site of the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.
