The judge in the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case reprimanded the government for not providing enough basis for her to determine if information in the case should be privileged.

The federal judge overseeing the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia appeared extremely frustrated Friday by the Trump administration’s efforts to thwart a search for answers on what officials are doing to facilitate his return from El Salvador.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was deported to El Salvador in March in what the Trump administration admits was a mistake. His family has sued to get him back.
