Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters were honored on stage at the Oscars ceremony on Sunday, met with a standing ovation from some of Hollywood's biggest names.

Los Angeles was hit with a 3.9-magnitude earthquake following the Academy Awards at around 10:13 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, according to a report from the United States Geological Survey

The relief efforts are still underway in Los Angeles after the devastating fires that ravaged the city recently.
