Ahead of her forthcoming new album Something Beautiful, pop star Miley Cyrus hosted an intimate screening of the visual album on Tuesday night (May 6). During a Q&A session with fans, the singer shared some of her favorite advice she's received - and it came from from her godmother Dolly Parton.

When Bill Ray's daughter Miley was born in 1992, he showed that in addition to good looks and talent, he had one more key quality: Chutzpah. Why, you may ask? Because he asked fellow country singer and global icon Dolly Parton to be her godmother.

Miley Cyrus, performed an unreleased song “More To Lose,” out May 9, in a surprise New York City performance, noting that “a couple of exes” were in the crowd to hear it.
