Two local men’s teams and four local women’s teams made the cut in the NCAA lacrosse tournament brackets, which were unveiled Sunday night.

Winner of back-to-back NCAA lacrosse titles, Notre Dame is coming off a 14-12 loss to Syracuse in the ACC Tournament semifinals on May 2.

Since then all the former Roanoke College goalkeeper has done is lead Princeton to a national semifinal in 2022 and a 42-19 overall record. His team, however, has been bounced in its NCAA opener in each of the last two seasons (by Penn State in 2023 and Maryland in 2024).
