President Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff ended the Israel -Hamas ceasefire and hostage talks early in Doha, Qatar, on Thursday, accusing the Palestinian terrorist group of acting selfishly during this week’s negotiations.

Hamas has rejected a 60-day Gaza ceasefire proposal, a senior official in Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office told reporters Saturday.

During the tense meeting, the mediators made it clear to Hamas leaders that “if you don’t return with a serious response, your problem will be with us - the mediators.”
