An 11-year-old is dead, according to Avondale Police, following a pedestrian crash at an intersection in the West Valley city.

A child died after being hit by a car while crossing a road in Avondale on Monday night, according to the city's police department. Avondale officers were called to an area near 107th Avenue and Thomas Road for reports of a serious crash.
