According to Florida Highway Patrol, five vehicles were involved in the crash Thursday night, and the 19-year-old was the only person who did not have on a seatbelt.

Northbound traffic on Interstate-95 was backed up for miles late Thursday morning into the afternoon due to a crash involving several vehicles. The crash happened near NW 151st Street. Miami-Dade County Fire Rescue said two of its truck crews were at the scene.
