Newark Liberty, JFK, LaGuardia and Teterboro were listed among the 40 “high volume market” airports that will be affected by flight cancellations as part of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s pledge to keep American travelers safe in the sky, CBS News reported.

"It's going to lead to more cancellations, but we are going to work with the airlines to do this in a systematic way."
