A man has been accused of assault, brandishing a knife and violent disorder connected to the fatal stabbing of Quham Babatunde in Dublin. Jeffrey Bangu (21), was remanded in custody by Judge Paula Murphy at Dublin District Court on Tuesday.

A man aged in his 20s has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Dublin over the weekend.

A second man is due in court this morning charged in relation to the investigation into a fatal stabbing in Dublin at the weekend.

Quam Babatunde, 34, died after he was stabbed close to Grafton Street in Dublin in the early hours of Saturday.

Jeffrey Bangu, 21, of Cardy Rock Crescent in Balbriggan, Co Dublin appeared before Dublin District Court charged with Section 3 assault causing harm to Quaham Babatunde at Duke Lane Dublin 2 on February 15.

A Garda spokesperson said: "The man (aged 23 years) arrested in Belfast by the PSNI on Sunday, February 16, 2025, in connection with a fatal assault in the South Anne Street/Duke Lane Upper area of Dublin in the early hours of Saturday, February 15, 2025, has since been charged.
