The Mets completed a three-game sweep of the Nationals on Thursday and continue to roll, even as the hamstring injury suffered by Kodai Senga in the series finale remains front of mind.

It was a scene reminiscent of the one from last July: Kodai Senga, the Mets prized right-handed ace, was on the ground in pain in the middle of what was otherwise a brilliant outing. And much like last time, Senga will be going on the injured list, this time with a strained right hamstring.

The Mets beat the Nationals, 4-3, on Thursday at Citi Field to complete a three-game sweep. But the game was overshadowed by Kodai Senga's injury.
