Sunday night’s thunderstorms were forecast to bring several severe weather threats, but limited damage was reported Monday morning. Winds did peak at 76 miles per hour in Grayson County, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office, but top speeds were 20-30 mph lower for much of the rest of North Texas.

After a damp and gray Monday, storms return on Tuesday. They could deliver pockets of heavy rain and potentially damaging wind gusts. Once they’re over, though, we’re in for another run of sunny and summery days to close out the week.
