Ibrahima Konaté (born 25 May 1999) is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Liverpool and the France national team. He is regarded as one of the best centre-backs in the world.

Ibrahima Konaté was signed for Liverpool FC by Jürgen Klopp in the summer of 2021. The French center-back was brought in from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig for a fee of $46m (£36m/€42m) and has established himself as one of the leading young defenders in the world.

Centre-back Ibrahima Konate bolstered Liverpool FC's defensive ranks when he joined the club ahead of the 2021-22 season. The France international agreed a move to the Reds from RB Leipzig after four seasons with the Bundesliga side in which he played almost a century of games in domestic and European competition.
